Tile Fun

TileFun is a simple game which just involves clicking on tiles of the same colour which are touching.

The more tiles that are touching the bigger your score will be.Two tiles score just 2 points, three tiles score 6, four tiles score 12.

To see what any tile block is worth just single click on any tile in the block and its score will be shown.

To remove the current block, just click on the remove button and they will be removed and their value added to your score.

The remaining tiles will slide down to fill the empty spaces and any empty columns will also vanish.

Just to make life more interesting, you can select how big the playing area is, up to 20 deep by 30 wide.

When you start a new game, the board is populated at random with the default set of five colours, one of these colours is randomly selected to be the bonus colur. Bonus colour tiles are worth twice as much as any other colour.

If you clear the board of every tile your score will be doubled!

Once you have about 20 points in your score you will be able to benefit from some built in tricks. You will be able to slide tiles to the left or right into an adjoining empty square. You will be able to swap two adjoining tiles, either up and down or left and right. You will also be able to change the colour of any tile to another randomly chosen colour.

All these aids to boosting your score will cost you a fixed penalty percentage of your current score, so do them early in the game while your score is still quite low. Afterall, 5% of 100 point is just 5 points, but 5% of 5000 point is 500 points!!

Just so that the game is more fun, each time you start a new game, a random number of bombs are placed on the board. If you click on a bomb, it goes off (turn your sound up or down to make it sound more realistic) and a random percentage of your score will get deducted.

So that you have chance to avoid them, you get a single opportunity to see where every bomb is, by pressing the 'see bombs' button.

To set you a challenge, my best score on the maximum size board was around 68000!!!
